Regulatory Affairs Packaging Manager - 4 month contractLocation: Aargau, Switzerland
Our client, a food chemical manufacturer, is currently looking for a Regulatory Affairs Packaging Manager to be responsible for the regulatory compliance of their packaging business while establishing the packaging regulatory affairs strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the regulatory compliance of our Packaging business
- Develop, manage and implement a regulatory compliance strategy for the packaging segment across Group Functions and Regions.
- Establish the Packaging regulatory affairs strategy as the trusted business partner for an integrated commercial organization, involve Packaging functions in all aspects of regulations related to Packaging
- Lead and further develop the global Packaging affairs network
- Engage, commit and train stakeholders in the trade & customs compliance matters
- Maintain and strengthen effective collaboration with corporate functions like Sales, Marketing and Development
- Contribute pro-actively to the development of innovative solutions to support new business ideas/strategies/products by providing insights and information on developments in the area of Packaging compliance.
- Advocate regulatory affairs matters with authorities and other external stakeholders.
Requirement:
- Master's or higher degree in natural sciences, law or engineering degree in packaging
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in regulatory compliance or legal
- Proven experience in risk management, preferable related to regulatory affairs aspects.
- Working understanding of international and national chemical regulations.
- Track record as a successful leader in managing a multi-disciplinary network in supporting and meeting agreed targets of solid performance
- English fluent, German an advantage
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
