NextLink is looking for a Linguistics professional to work in Switzerland for a contract position of 12 months + with a lot of possibility to be extended in a multinational client.
Main Responsibilities:
Sub Project Management: Medical Device Regulation (MDR) - addition of 18 languages and new symbols and data to labels with Legal Manufacturer Synthes GmbH
Generate and revise Sales Text and Label Data in up to 24 languages according to regulatory requirements for Synthes GmbH. Generate and revise Country Specific Label Text and Label Data
Sending out Sales Text for translation and processing the incoming translations to maintain a database
Act as Project Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing Master Data Management and its activities. Know and follow all laws and policies related to the job and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all time
Additional tasks and projects may be assigned by the Manager Master Data Management
Who we are looking for:
Fluent German and English required for the role
Business fluency required in at least one of the following Romance languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and ideally knowledge of at least one Slavic language
All additional languages are a plus
A degree in linguistics or translation studies is an advantage
Good understanding of ERP (SAP), PLM systems and information technology experience in regulated business environment, ideally Labeling experience in cross-functional support is an advantage
2-5 years related experience

Location: Zuchwil, Switzerland
Duration: 12 months (with a lot of possibility to be extended)
