IP Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Duration: 6 MM
Main tasks:
- Design and operate the development of the large IP network
- Implement and operate MNOs access links to IPX, incl. planning, documentation, testing and technical support
- Management of nodes/links upgrade in coordination with L2/L3 suppliers
- Proactive monitoring and capacity management of the network to provide five nine service availability
- Service troubleshooting worldwide and resolution of technical incidents
- 2nd level service to internal and external parties
Main qualifications
- University degree in telecommunications or equivalent work experience
- Extensive know-how in R&S with Cisco (minimum level of CCNA), incl. expertise in BGP, DNS and overlay routing
- Experience in operating large IP transit networks (e.g. ISPs)
- Knowledge of IPX/GRX industry and related services is a plus
- Dynamic, communicative and reliable personality
- Very good knowledge of the English language (written and oral), additional languages are a plus
