A Systems Engineer (Windows Server and VMWare) is needed to join the headquarters of a fast-growing commodities company with office across Europe. Based from their Cham offices you will be responsible for the hands-on operation of the existing infrastructure & introduction of new technologies into the company's estate. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager in Switzerland the role requires a split of operational activities and project led initiatives to maintain and enhance the IT services consumed by the company.
REQUIRED
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Minimum of 10 years' experience working in a similar role
Ability to communicate technical points clearly to different levels within the organisation
A full driver's license and own transportation
Ability to work unsupervised and multitask to meet defined deadlines
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Microsoft server operating systems including Windows 2012 & 2016
Active Directory domain administration
Microsoft Exchange
VMWare and vSphere
Horizon and/or Citrix VDI knowledge
CONSIDERED ADVANTAGEOUS
Bachelor - IT Studies
Knowledge of oil or fuel business
German language skills
