Junior Java EE Developer - (Training Zürich, Work place Manno, Ticino)

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Ticino, we are looking for a Senior Java EE Developer.
Overview of the project:
- You'll be working in the Global Messaging and Screening Capability as part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
- Java developer roles and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept to design and testing
Main responsibilities:
- Developing in JAVA coupled with data transformations through a product specializing in financial messaging and interfacing into multiple banking applications and technologies
Skills:
- Over 2 years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on operational stability, security and application resilience
- Desire and willingness to work on data mapping
- Good insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Volante and messaging mapping knowledge or experience highly beneficial
- Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Experience with test-driven development
- Please note that you need to be willing to be based 3-6 months in Zürich for training and then role will be based in Manno, Ticino (Switzerland)
