Tasks:
- Key member in the Front IT team supporting Trading and Sales Teams.
- Implementing and tuning high throughput, low-latency and high availability components of the Real Time Engine (publishing and subscribing key Market Data), Entitlement System (to regulate Market data access).
- Responsible for sending data to Internet facing applications.
- Developing and maintaining adapters (APIs) for applications consuming data in our Real Time Pricing Platform and the Historical data from the Tick Database.
- Responsible for developing new features on core components which were mainly performing data distribution to internal applications.
- Using Erlang as main Development-language.
- Integration of the Real Time Pricing platform with other key applications.
- 2nd and 3rd level support.
- Understand the use cases (business and technical) required for the data distribution so that it is possible to aim to a targeted and efficient implementation given the small size of the team.
- Actively support Business and IT on a low latency, high availability of Real Time Engine.
- Support and interaction with key stakeholders for the Real Time Engine, e.g. Internal Clients (e.g. Traders) and the system applications owners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/ Master/ University in Computer Science.
- 7-10 years’ experience in software development.
- 3 years + experience in Erlang Development.
- Significant experience with low latency and high available systems.
- Good experience to work in an international, dynamic and diversified environment.
- Experience in development with Java, C and/or C#.
- Experience in financial industry.
- Passion for real-time data area, low latency-technology and front end business.Business Knowledge beneficial: Market Data, basic understanding of Equities, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rates and Fixed Income.
- English is a must, German is a plus.
