Lead Business Intelligence Engineer with profound wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Profound background in reporting on large data volume with strong openness towards R&D
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms including MS Azure, Kubernetes and Docker coupled with work experience in microservice architecture and design
- Solid knowledge of Linux, Unix, Bash-scripting as well as programming skills like Python and Java
- Ability to work with Apache Open Source Software such as Cassandra and Hadoop with competency of designing and implementing service oriented architectures in a DevOps team
- University degree in informatics, software engineering, computer science or a related field
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Designing and implementing a large scale BI system as well as developing and managing all components of the BI framework
- Developing, improving as well as conducting artifacts such as technical design and architecture diagrams
- Interacting with the end users to discover important requirements and working out new concepts or technologies
- Resolving problems and roadblocks by follow through details
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines while following infrastructure as code paradigm
- Performing evaluation of vendor, hosting solutions using KPIs, providing support and troubleshooting system issues as needed
