Consumables Development Engineer : - CAD/Catia V5/Medical/ German

Role Purpose: Our client is looking for an experienced Consumables Development Engineer in Luzern location for a contract initially for 6 months with strong possibility of extension.

Main tasks:
-Responsible for construction of plastic parts for injection moulding production.
-Preparation of technical drawings according to current standards.
-Preparation of project and product documentation (German and English) in accordance with internal processes
-Cooperation in development projects
-Independent coordination with internal and external interfaces
- Procurement of prototypes

Technical Skills Must Have:
- Training as design engineer or polymechanic, plastics technician with corresponding further training (technician or FH mechanical engineering or plastics technology)
- Must have 1-3 years professional experience as designer with 3D CAD (preferably CATIA V5)
- Responsible for construction of plastic parts for injection moulding production.
- Must have good knowledge of the standards applicable to design and drawing preparation
-Team player, able to communicate, independent
- Good MS Office knowledge .

Nice to Have :
- Must have good knowledge of SAP.
- Good experience working medical or pharma environment.

Education: Bachelor or Master university of applied sciences degree or equivalent education, specialising in technology, science or medical technology.

Languages:
- Fluent in English (Writtern & Oral).
- Fluent in German
