Are you an experienced Software Engineer C/C++ (f/m) looking for a new challenge, where you can contribute your technical skills to the future? Our client in the measurement industries is currently looking for Senior Software Engineer C/C++ (f/m) to strengthen their team in the R&D department.This role is based in one of their fastest growing business units, potentially offering an unlimited contract after the initial 6 months.
General:
- Start: ASAP or upon agreement
- Duration: 6 month
- Extension: possibility for unlimited contract/permanent hire
- Location: Eastern Switzerland
Requirements:
- Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in modern best practices for software development, delivery, and deployment
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Experience in software design
- Experience in Computer Vision is a strong plus
- Fluency in English
Amongst other tasks, in this position you will be managing the backlog of our computer vision library, the continuous integration processes and the DevOps activities to ensure the code quality. Additional you will coordinate the technical contributions to a common computer vision library from distributed project teams. Next to the tech side you will be coaching a team of research engineers regarding best practices in software engineering and software design according to the existing architecture and guidelines.
