System Administrator (m/f) 100% - Linux & Windows / Active Directory / Tomcat/Apache / VirtualizationRole / Project:
For one of our clients in Geneva, we are looking for a System Administrator (m/f) to reinforce the existing team in order to ensure the daily tasks as well as to support a Rehosting project in the implementation and operation of the infrastructure.
Main Tasks:
- Design, install and maintain infrastructure
- Administer Linux and Windows servers
- Supervise, anticipate and correct system and storage limitations
- Implementation of automation scripts (PowerShell / Bash)
- Troubleshooting
- Participate in the virtualization field
- Participate in storage and backup areas
Required Profile:
Expected Skills
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent ideally supplemented by training in system administration, storage and backup
- More than 5 years' experience in IT operations, system engineering and infrastructure
- Very good command of Linux (Red Hat and/or SUSE) and Windows operating systems
- Very good command of Linux and Windows infrastructure management solutions, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Proven experience in Tomcat / Apache operations
- Good knowledge and experience in the field of virtualization, HA and security
- Good knowledge and experience in NetBackup, Centreon and Nagios environments
- Very good knowledge of the following languages: PowerShell and Bash
Language Skills
- French: fluent (preferably mother tongue)
- English: good knowledge
- German: good knowledge => a plus but not mandatory (!)
