For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
Senior Business Analyst - Risk Management / Basel 3
The ideal candidate will work in a team, which has the objective to deliver new changes for data sourcing, calculation and reporting for both FINMA mandated regulations as well as improving banks application infrastructure.
Your Qualifications:
- 7+ years of consistent experience as Senior Business Analyst within the banking sector
- Experience in risk management (not operational risk) or capital calculations of a bank
- Technical knowledge including Data Warehousing and SQL writing skills
- Experience with Basel banking regulations
- Experience of regulatory reporting tools like Axiom
- Comprehensive understanding of business processes and corresponding IT solutions
- Well versed in using Excel (Pivot table, V-Look Up, Formulas)
- An open communicative personality with excellent presentation and communication skills in English, German would be a plus
Your Responsibilities:
- Analysis and building of business requirements
- Liaise with the upstream data provider to ensure additional requirements are reflected accordingly
- Creating business test cases (including automated SQL scripts) against requirements
- Performing end to end business-level testing of the solution
- Working jointly with IT and business organizations to implement effective business solutions
