A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Expert Business Analyst ATLAS IETV who is part of the ATLAS Programme, the Integrated Economic and Traditional Valuations (IETV) project you will have the opportunity to be a part of software implementation that has the potential to become the new industry standard. As an Expert Business Analyst ATLAS IETV, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of Accounting and Actuarial Business Experts, an Information Architect, Business Analysts and Developers. The team will be responsible for the design and implementation of an efficient and effective integrated production across all valuations for P&C and L&H (Cross Reinsurance) with a primary focus on implementing the IFRS17 accounting rules.Start Date: asap

Tasks:
- Ensure timely and high quality delivery of backlog, including GL/Reporting integration work.
- Support re-planning of backlog based on progress and possibly changing project deadlines.
- Support any end-to-end integration testing of Financial Products Subledger.
- Foster knowledge transfer to run organisation and collect their input/feedback.
Requirements:
Business and accounting understanding
- Strong understanding of business requirements (reinsurance/investments), can document and communicate effectively to ensure they are implemented/configured as specified.
- Can evaluate potential solutions to ensure requirements are implemented /configured consistent with Key Design Areas (KDAs).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting for both traditional (US GAAP and Statutory) and economic valuations (EVM, S2, SST).
- Strong understanding of the IFRS17 financial reporting requirements.
- Strong understanding of double entry accounting approach for all valuations across all time dimensions (i.e.: Actual, Projected, Plan).
Testing
- Can formulate and document test cases to ensure we can meet specified business requirements.
- Can effectively do test, reconciliation and root cause analysis to understand why results are not as expected and communicate accordingly.
- Ensure governance and quality standards are adhered to specifically as it relates to the documentation of the requirements and test results.
System knowledge and project experience
- Strong understanding of end-to-end system landscape (source, master data, general ledger, consolidation) and how the data flows from source to produce the required bookings, reports and interfaces.
- Identify dependencies and collaborate with other areas including the ATLAS project.
- Active participation in the agile project delivery (sprint planning, JIRA, retrospective, etc.).
- Prior implementation of a sub-ledger preferred; experience with SAP Bank Analyzer, AFI or sAFI highly recommended.
Soft Skills:
- Team player with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Strong delivery focus as well as analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and to cope with peak time.
