Application Manager

Role:
The role owner is responsible as an application specialist (AS) for the procedural application of the
application assigned to him / her. He / she sets the specifications and orders of the Responsible Persons in the Company (BV) as well as the Supporting Service Manager (SuS Manager). The AS is the central interface (SPOC) opposite Business, IT, Partner and Service Management, in all process-related aspects of the application. He / she supports the Operating Specialist in 2nd level support. For projects, releases and changes, the AS works as a process specialist for the application.

Project Tasks:
* Contact for process-related and technical questions regarding the application for business, IT and partners
* Implementation of specifications, guidelines and assignments of the BV and SuS Managers
* Ongoing coordination of the relevant surrounding systems
* Conducting operational meetings for larger applications
* Representation of the application in committees, meetings and events (if required)
* Collaboration in projects and releases over the entire lifecycle, including support of test management
* If no project manager is assigned is
* Initialize and create the change request in cooperation with the business and partner
* Management of the external supplier for technical topics, if the application surgery is Performed externally
* Maintenance of operating and system documentation (BHB) and application documentation (ADOit)
* Verification of applications with regard to process-related improvement possibilities
* implementation of improvement measures (CIP) together with the operating team
* Carrying out trainings in connection with the application and training of new employees
* Managing the assigned WBS elements

Skills / Requirements:
* Knowledge of the relevant applications
* Master of the relevant ICT processes and corresponding tools
* Basic knowledge of ITIL
* High IT affinity and technical flair
* Customer-oriented with pronounced communication and coordination skills
* Basic training in business, information technology, technical or commercial professions
* Right of co-determination in projects (initialization, phase and technology decisions).
* Approval of changes and releases from a process-related point of view
* Allocation of access rights to data, applications and systems according to the instructions of Business IT and of the partner
* Assignment and control of the external supplier for technical / application services
* Access (reading rights and data mutations) to all supporting tools and applications
* Billing release of the WBS elements supported
* Escalation to the BV or pupils Manager for unsolvable problems

Education:
* High School or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, IT or a technical discipline

Language:
* Fluent in German
* Good English
