Job Description:
Overview of business area or project:
The candidate will join a team of C++/Java developers to maintain a platform which supports cross-assets in EQ, FI and Structured Products.
Overview of the department/team (team size, backgrounds, personalities ):
The candidate will work with a team of 14 C++/Java developers across EMEA and Switzerland. The team interacts directly with business in terms of capturing business ideas or requests, translates into IT implementation with test cases. The team is DevOps oriented and supportive when comes to knowledge sharing and providing an excellent service to business and IT downstream teams.
The platform you will work on is constantly evolving with weekly deployments into production, and we are keen on test driven development with an aim to increase our test coverage over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the existing C++/Java code base to ensure stability and deliver new functionalities as required by business.
- Focus on low latency Market data feed to optimize trading results.
- Enhance the algo trading platform to support on-going MiFID II regulatory requirements.
- Be part of 3rd Level support to diagnose and solve production issues.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- C++ with at least 5 years solid and recent experiences
- Java with at least 5 years solid experience
- Knowledge and past experience in derivative trading IT
- Deep knowledge in understanding network architecture,
- Development experience in TCP/IP.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Working experience with European trading venues.
- Experience in FIX connectivity and development
- Front End GUI development
