For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a experienced
Requirements Engineer / Software Developer - Java & C++
Your Qualifications:
- Solid track record in requirements engineering and software development
- 5+ years of experience in Java and C++ development
- Deep knowledge in network architecture and with TCP/IP
- Strong test-driven development skills and willingness to jump into legacy code
- Knowledge and past experience in derivative trading IT
- Working experience with European trading venues as well as experience in FIX connectivity and development would be beneficial
- Experience in Front-end GUI development would be a plus
- Proactive personality and a good team player
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Enhance the existing C++ / Java code base to ensure stability and deliver new functionalities as required by business
- Focus on low latency Market data feed to optimize trading results
- Enhance the algo trading platform to support on-going MiFID II regulatory requirements
- Be part of 3rd Level support to diagnose and solve production issues
