Systems Architect_Business Intelligence and Analytics_80-100% Zurich
For our customer in the Zurich region we are looking for a Systems Architect.
Project Task:
- Involves in the planning, definition and design of solutions in the area of Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Reporting and Analytics
- Active participation in the Continuous Exploration process as part of the Continuous Delivery-Pipeline, especially for Enabler-Epics
- Works with internal customers, stakeholders and suppliers to superordinate solution intentions as well as information models and documentation requirements for the solution intent
- Works closely with portfolio stakeholders, especially the domain architect and the Scrum teams, Release Train Engineer, Product Manager, and Product owners, to develop the implementation of enabler epics, to analyse, divide and realize
- Provides overview and promotes built-in quality as well as team and technical agility
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience with architecture topics in the area of Business Intelligence/Business analytics
- Familiar with reporting and data discovery tools (SAS VA, SAP BO, Tableau)
- Experience in the construction of data warehouses and corresponding conceptual and logical Datamodelling (3NF, Data Vault and Snow-/Star-Flake)
- Experience with the construction of ETL lines and willing to embrace new architectural patterns (Logical Data Warehouses), UML and ArchiMate as modelling languages, Sparx Enterprise Architect can apply
- Knows how to use agile methods, which is ideally something that SysArch has already done in a SAFe project Can conceptually prepare architectural topics, moderate them, coordinate them with the stakeholders and bring them to a decision
- Should not be a lone fighter and have certain social skills, and can really drive topics to the end
- Requirements (technology eg Java, Linux etc.): Knows the different technologies used to build Data Lakes in the area of SQL and NoSQL (Hadoop, MongoDB etc.). Knows how a data scientist works and what IT environments must look like in order to ideally support their work.
