System Administrator / Platform Expert (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Escalate support assistance, interacting with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, ongoing performance tuning and operating system upgrades
- Work for VC to support work packages (wp2.1, wp 2.2)
- Support of VMware infrastructure in Geneva and Dübendorf running on SVC & CAM & EE and backup infrastructure
- Support of infrastructure managed by TPM
- Support, assistance and interact with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, backup infrastructure and ongoing performance tuning
- Troubleshooting, incident management (recovery, repair), daily monitoring of existing systems
Main qualifications
- Expertise with virtualized infrastructure running under VMware
- Expertise with backup infrastructure running under Veeam
- Datacenter experience, with both virtual and bare metal hosts
- Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring
- Experience with Jira, Confluence
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Understand existing technical environment, systems, processes and tools
