Professional Developer (Scientific & Manufacturing):-
Frontend/Angular/Bio Sample/HTML/CSS/Javascript/Pharma/Remote
Project/Role:
For our customer, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced an Angular developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Front End development of the solution. The role is contract position initially for 7 months (with strong possibility of extension) in Basel Switzerland with remote option.
Main tasks:
-Responsible for the Front End development of the Bio-Sample Tracking platform.
-Responsible to work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into UI prototypes, designs and working web-based implementations.
- Illustrate design ideas using whiteboard drawings/sketches.
- Responsible to improve the code quality with smart and sustainable automated testing strategies.
- Participate in technical decision makings.
- Ensure scalability of the platform to a cloud enterprise solution.
Requirements:
- Must have atleast +5 years professional software development experience .
- Good experience in Front End development using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Must have extensive experience in test-driven software development .
- Must have deep knowledge of Angular framework.
- Strong working knowledge of best coding practices (TDD/BDD, pair-programming)
- The ability to rapidly design and build prototypes using Invision
- Must have good experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins)
- Must have very good experience with building and maintaining optimized web application front ends powered by RESTful APIs .
- Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style.
- Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team .
- Must have strong communication skills.
Nice To Have:
- Good experience with D3 visualization library and SpotFire
- Good experience with big-data visualization.
- Good working knowledge of cloud-based solutions (preferably AWS) .
- Working experience within an AGILE environment (ideally SCRUM)
- Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting
Education:
University degree/Master degree in background is in mechanical or electrical engineering, mechatronics, micromechanics or a related discipline or relevant area of study and/or equivalent professional experience.

- English - Fluent
