Safety Science Associate (Medical) Director - ROCHJP (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Signal evaluation, safety related activities associated wit new drug applications/regulatory filings, benefit-risk assessment and safety-risk management
- Work with Safety Science Medical Directors in support of programs
- Act as Safety Science Leader (SSL)/representative on the Global Development Team, Lifecycle Team, Clinical Science Team, Established Products Team - leading the cross-functional Safety Team
- Development and execution of the long-range safety strategic plans for the molecule including the design, monitoring, analysis and reporting of studies and other data sources throughout the product lifecycle
- Bring safety expertise to interactions with Health Authorities and Data Monitoring Committees
Main qualifications
- Completed MD degree and postgraduate training with very good experience in the pharmaceutical industry/in an academic environment
- Very good experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation and clinical relevance
- Experience publishing in a referred journal preferred
- Good understanding of GxP and regulated processes and end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle
- Strong orientation towards cross-functional teamwork
- Ability to effectively work with remote partners on a global team
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
