Application Support 3rd Level wanted for our Zürich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years' experience working in IT within a financial organization
- Experience in supporting business applications working closely with legal agreements
- Competency of JavaScript in MarkLogic as well as NoSQL, Java Client API or XCC
- Expertise in UNIX, querying (Oracle / Microsoft SQL), Node.js is advantageous
- Strong problem - solving skills are essential to problems related with application development techniques, like solidifying application requirements and source code control
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German language is of advantage
Your tasks:
- Developing, implementing and supporting a performant and flexible Mark Logic data store supporting a real time data, integration, and cognitive fabric built using Kafka and Java Spring
- Developing and implementing multiple Mark Logic data stores including event store, an aggregate event store and an analytic store to support the client's business
- Working with the application development team to understand JSON structures based on a Logical Data Model Participate in all aspects of the software life cycle, production deployment and support
- Coding in XQuery/XPath, Java, JavaScript/Node.js
- Supporting web applications and Rest APIs
- Formulating approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions and present solutions through formal deliverables
