Responsibilities
- Engineering and further development of a global VMware VRealize automation infrastructure (focussing on JavaScript)
- Integration of globally distributed infrastructure endpoints into the cloud
- Design, development and documentation of new vRealize workflows, blueprints and catalogues
- Continuous development and enhancement of the current IaaS and PaaS offering
- Debugging and troubleshooting of existing workflows and Interfaces in vRA/vRO
- 3rd level support
Requirements
Good JavaScript development skills
Experience in VMware virtualization and/or cloud environments
Experience in IT automation and orchestration solutions like Openstack, Ansible or vRealize
Experience in integration of infrastructure endpoints using technologies like SOAP, REST,SSH or PowerShell
Fluent in English
Nice to have
Experience in vRealize Automation
Experience in other scripting languages like PowerShell, Ruby or Python
Experience with JSON
VMware certifications
German language skills
