Description:Background: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the transition of a global data analysis software platform into operations/sustainment and to strategize and execute around enhancing and expanding the platform within the Clients' manufacturing network. This is a business role, located in the (SW product) owner's organization. It drives collaboration of team members across all involved functions, of business and IT departments. A thorough understanding of software development and sustainment processes, of Computer Systems Validation, and of IT service management is required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage execution, and control the integrated project plan
- Support, and coach project members to provide adequate estimates, perform risk assessments, and comprehensively identify dependencies
- In collaboration with all involved functions, business and IT, develop and execute effective project communication plans
- Stakeholder identification and engagement
- Facilitate and lead effective project meetings and workshops; incl. minutes, action items, follow-ups
- Track resource demand/allocation and consumption
- "Marketing" / "Branding"
- Establish and maintain Risk register
- Manage documentation repository (e.g. gDrive, Sharepoint)
- Manage change and conflict
Must Haves:
- Minimum education: BS/BA in life science, business, IT or relevant
- 10+ years of effective project management experience in IT, biotechnology, medical, life sciences and/or pharmaceuticals
- Strong program and project management experience, familiar with agile and standard project management approaches
- Knowledge about Computer System Validation, GMP processes and compliance
- Knowledge about delivery and maintenance of IT services
- Knowledge about pharma process engineering and statistical process control is a big plus
- Experience in working in complex, globally and functionally dispersed environments
- Comfortable with ambiguities and uncertainties
- Strong written / oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Proactive self-starter
- Must work well in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to customize information for various audiences.
