Desktop Support Analyst - Ticket - Windows - Active Directory - Google Suite - Apple - Ios - English - German - Basel - SwitzerlandNextLink is having an existing position as a Desktop Support Analyst for global projects in Basel area, Switzerland.
General information: - Start date: 01.05.2019 - Latest start date: 01.06.2019 - End date: 31.12.2019 - Extension: An extension is likely, but needs to be confirmed. - Work location: Basel, CH
- Workload: 100% Tasks & Responsibilities: - Working with the given Tickettool Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools - Progressing of Incident and Request Management Tickets according process - Progressing Asset Management Updates according process - Participation at IT Welcome Zone Shifts (5 hours, 1-2 times per week) - Experience with and understanding of other technology domains, methods, etc. and their interactions. - Implementation and coordination of hardware, software, network component installations - Creating and maintaining of knowledge articles, operational manuals, user guides and checklists. - Follow-up on hardware, software, network problems and initiation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures. - Performing short training- / consultancy sessions for up to 20 end users. - Contribution in continuous Improvement processes - Participation in status meetings Must Haves: - 5+ years of experience in an appropriately relevant area - Sound intermediate-level knowledge of relevant methodologies, technologies, languages, standards and processes - Sound know how of Windows 7 & Windows 10 in an Active Directory Environment - Advanced know how of the Google gSuite - Apple Mac & iOS knowhow - Customer friendliness and good communication skills in English and German - English (Advanced) - German (Proficient) - Open minded, flexible personality - Eager to learn & develop Nice to Haves: +++ Experience in giving IT Trainings ++ French / Spanish language skills + Any experience with project coordination
