We are currently recruiting a Space Mechanism engineer to join our client based in Switzerland for an initial 6 month contract.
The successful candidate should have the following experience:
- Experience in Structural dimensioning of mechanisms which undergo vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum and space radiation environment
- Experience in selecting mechanism components for space applications (motors, encoder, launch locks, bearings, flexible pivots)
- Experience in design for high production rate is an asset
- Experience in Lubrication analysis and motorization margin
- Experience in coordinating breadboard design activities (mechanical design team for 3D modelling and manufacturing files available at client)
- Experience in specifying and support procurement of space mechanism components
- Experience in defining test sequences and evaluating/reporting test results
- Finite Element Analysis background, as an option/asset especially if NX-CAE is known as pre/post processor
