Finance Analyst
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Finance Analyst to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available immediately.
Key objectives:
- Act as the finance business partner to the members of Global Quality leadership in providing accurate, timely and insightful information whilst also actively supporting the Regional and local Quality organizations
- Plan, analyse and report the financial performance of Quality at all manufacturing sites.
- Provide overview of Quality related Capex at sites.
- Pro-actively flag deviations regarding performance and costs and propose remediation actions.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement financial and operational planning processes
- Set annual performance targets
- Analyze financial and operational performance, propose remediation measures
- Prepare and consolidate financial performance to senior management
- Support members of GQLT in business reviews challenging performance and aspirations so they are aligned with plan
- Appraise and comment on the full-year forecast
- Effectively collaborate with local, regional and global Finance functions and business partners
Your Experience:
- Experience in operations management, controlling/financial reporting and analysis
- Working knowledge of cost accounting, accounting, budgeting and forecasting principles
- Professional experience with Technical Development, Manufacturing, Quality functions in the Biotech/Pharma industry
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage, organize & analyse large volumes of data
- Understanding of IFRS
- Proven result-oriented ability to work under pressure against tight and changing deadlines and prioritize work or multiple tasks and deliver
- Ability to lead by influence, and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Ability to navigate, communicate with and influence in a matrixed organization, working in cross-functional teams
- Effective stakeholder management
Your profile:
- Education: Completed business studies with focus on management accounting/controlling. CMA, CPA, Master in Finance or MBA education preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in a finance/controlling position preferably with exposure to manufacturing and/or Supply chain and experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Powerpoint is expected. Solid knowledge of SAP and experience with multi-dimensional cubes would be a distinct advantage
- Languages: Excellent English skills
- Profile: Structured & process-oriented, strategic mind-set, proactive and driven, problem-solver, strong communication skills, team player
- English - Fluent written and spoken
