Linux System Engineer
Linux System Engineer | Unix - RedHat with profound OS Security and Web Security knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
* 3 years' working experience with Unix / Linux - RedHat and Network technologies as well as proficiency in the field of OS Security and Web Security
* Scripting skills in Python, Perl or Bash
* Track record in implementing internet based applications with the following technologies: HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Tomcat and Apache
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in the Information Technology field
* Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
* Contributing to the Internet Facing Applications integration and Support within the technological infrastructure
* Being responsible for Proxy Infrastructure and the corresponding Software Components e.g. Web Application Firewall, Reverse Proxy and Authentication Systems
* Onboarding of new clients
* Performing tactical engineering phase as well as use case, problem analysis, solution architecture and realisation
* Collaborating with various engineering departments in the wider area of security
