Data Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Practical knowledge in a working field of complex numerical challenges and tasks
- Extensive experience with Python, R or Matlab
- Domain knowledge in applied statistics is advantageous
- Know-how in medical field or analysis of human behavior is a plus
- Master with several years' experience or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or in relative discipline
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analysing and integrating data from mobile medical devices, large multivariate clinical data sets and real-world data such as medical claims
- Utilising modern analysis techniques to improve the medically relevant information from this wealth of data
- Focusing on the working field of Digital Health such as wearables and ambient monitors for device assessment
- Evaluating and improving performance of published and new algorithms on clinical datasets along with establishing software frameworks for efficient and effective data
- Researching joint development and presenting of best coding and analysis practices to the team members
- Writing and conducting analysis plans or scientific publication of results
