Compliance Analyst - Internal Controls (80%)
Experis IT Switzerland is seeking an experienced Compliance Analyst with a strong background in Internal Controls to join one of our clients, a well-known Investment Bank. For this 9-month assignment in Zurich, we are in search of a candidate who is available immediately/at short notice.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate and lead the SOX 404 compliance program for Switzerland across Private Banking, Investment Banking and Shared Services divisions.
- Manage the annual SOX 404 process execution to ensure timely design, operating effectiveness testing and to serve as the first point of contact for SOX 404 guidance
- Manage account/disclosure scoping process for Swiss entities to ensure adequate coverage of critical accounts and notes
- Partner closely with process owners to document new processes and controls to be brought in SOX scope and provide subject matter expertise on its design
- Perform financial statement issue assessments, support and challenge management in the remediation of SOX 404 issues
- Drive quality initiatives, front-to-back process reviews and change projects (eg reorganizations) to improve the design quality of the bank's internal control framework.
- Represent the Switzerland region in global SOX 404 calls
- Support semi-annual Swiss region roundtable held for business and operation risk team members
Your profile:
- 7+ years working experience in finance/internal control
- Experience in an Operational Risk Control (financial reporting related), Internal Control or SOX 404 position with a strong background in internal controls
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent such as Economics, Business Administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Excel knowledge to pivot tables and V-Look up
