Clinical Data Programmer - SAS / EDC / Medical Devices (m/f) 100% LucerneRole Purpose:
For our client, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced and technically talented Clinical Data Programmer in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics or medical device environment
Responsibilities:
- The Clinical Data Programmer (CDP) will be in charge of performing SAS programming related tasks for assigned studies
- Under general guidance, develops and modifies SAS programs to analyze and evaluate clinical data along with assessing data accuracy and consistency and also to expedite data management activities
- The CDP may also act as Clinical Data Manager as needed and works closely with the Clinical Study Team in execution of the data management activities by monitoring the quality and timeliness of data management deliverables
- Perform SAS programming to provide complex listings/reports to support data management and data analysis
- Develops source and analysis datasets to support the analysis of clinical trials data
Required Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience as a statistical programmer in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics or medical device environment
- Must have good knowledge of Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS macros, and SAS/GRAPH
- Experience with relational databases and clinical trials is a plus
- Familiar with statistical software and databases
- Familiar with an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Judgment skills to work accurately and efficiently toward quality result
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master degree in scientific discipline or equivalent
Languages:
- Fluency in German.
- English Advanced.
