Team Leader Pharmaceutical Development (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Responsible for generation, organisation, planning, execution, and follow up on formulation and process development projects
- Collaborate closely with other sections of Pharmaceutical Development and define and provide detail planning for projects or project studies, including timing, capacity, and logistics
- Propose and draft relevant work packages to Programme Management and for external partners, including costs, capacity, and time estimates and be accountable for proposed costs and forecast project requirements
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure appropriate phase-dependant product quality and compliance with (c)GMP in terms of development and manufacturing tasks
- Analyse, review, and present formulation and process data to internal and external stakeholders and identify possible scenarios, evaluate risks, and propose course of action
- Provide technical and scientific guidance for formulation, process, and manufacturing within area of expertise; uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
- Organize and participate in transfer of formulations and processes to commercial manufacturing production sites
- Draft and/or review protocols, reports, as well as CMC parts of regulatory/submission dossiers
- Identify, define rational, propose and implement new technologies. Draft and/or review user requirement specification and review qualification plans. For CAPEX, prepare suitable financial and PM documentation (CAR or PID)
- Control workflow in the laboratory and production, supervise assigned technicians and keep line functions and project team members informed about status of assigned projects, tasks and results
Main qualifications
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry or related area; industrial experience and good track record in the area of expertise (Formulation and process development); project management experience
- Languages: Fluent English, fluent German or French
- MS office tools, MS Project, statistical tools
