Beschreibung

Business Analyst with profound Project Management knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:
  • 10+ years' practice in Project Management in the Insurance industry with a solid knowledge of the terminology, core business functions and processes, including 5+ years' Agile project delivery
  • Experience in Business Analysis including requirements definition, data modelling and business architecture/process with expertise in developing business cases, estimating project costs and benefits as well as tracking project financials against plan/business case
  • Background in leading virtual software technology teams along with profound understanding of software development, testing and transition processes
  • Knowledge of managing backlogs with Azure DevOps and Team Foundation Server and using SharePoint as document repository along with SQL scripting skills for data analysis
  • Competency of MS Office, MS Visio and MS Project to manage cost and time as well as strong Excel skills for cost analysis and modelling
  • Certifications in Project Management and Business Analysis, such as CSM/CSPO, PMI, ITIL and IIBA are desirable
  • Languages: fluent English both written and spoken


Your tasks:
  • Cooperating with stakeholders to understand business needs, data sources and design processes
  • Collaborating with IT Architects to determine suitable technologies to deliver the needs of business stakeholders
  • Acting as SCRUM Master of a multi-functional, virtual team and fulfilling the role of the Product Owner or his proxy and preparing Agile Epics, Features and User Stories for the delivery team
  • Leading pre-project activities consisting of business case creation and project estimation as well as executing projects to the expectation of stakeholders and following Agile practices according to agreed project parameters
  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiations as well as tracking project metrics to ensure a successful project
  • Communicating with executive leadership and providing project risk analysis, status, and relevant changes
