An exciting opportunity for a VMware Specialist to join a global pharmaceutical company in beautiful Switzerland.You will be part of a multicultural team, putting your personal initiatives and development in the centre of their corporate strategy. Initial contract is 1 year with an option to extend and the start date is February/March.
Requirements:
- Experience in VMware, Hyper Converged, hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Design, Deploy, Install, Configure, Manage & operations support
- Server, storage, database, network & security fundamental knowledge
- Experience in native cloud, container, API, micros service applications environments
- Experience implementing global security related projects
- expertise in engineering secure networking technical solutions for the USCB using VMWare NSX.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server software, Windows Terminal Services, Citrix Presentation Server, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook, Microsoft Active Directory, Redhat Linux, SharePoint, IIS
- Understanding of LAN topology, Routers, hubs, Switches, Firewalls and network protocols and services, including WAN/Frame Relay/MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
- Python and Bash Scripting Good understanding on project and program management
- Strong communication and technical skills, prior experience of leading teams and working on a highly process driven environment
