Business Analyst Credit Risk wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Expert knowledge of Credit Risk from a Data Quality and Data Analysis viewpoint, including practical experience with Credit Risk Data Integration
- 5+ years' experience in Business Requirements Analysis in a similar role within a large financial institution with a track record of defining and documenting effective business rules for data integration
- Profound Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas as well as extensive SQL script writing skills
- Background in Data Quality Analysis and Testing including writing and performing test as well as knowledge of AML
- Strong understanding of front to back systems, data, calculations, processes, current regulatory regimes and requirements within risk functions of international banks and wealth management organisations
- Familiarity with business processes, financial products, credit risk management and regulatory requirements
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an advantage
Your tasks:
- Participating as a SME in our team in Zurich working on adding to the new risk reporting platform
- Engaging with local Risk Managers as well as Data Provisioning, our IT platform provider and other Risk/Change functions
- Understanding how the local business is booked in the local system and creating business rules for central data vault integration accordingly
- Supporting the local Credit Risk Managers and Data Provisioning BAU team in month end closing and Root Cause Analysis including training if required
- Performing Data Quality Analysis for future automated integration
