Big Data Engineer (m/f)

Duration: 3 MM++
Main tasks:
- Daily support, monitoring and maintenance of the Analytics Platform (Azure)
- Ingestion: loading of data from a variety of data sources
- Together with data experts, create "Data Marts" (SQL DB's and Tables) out of raw data (mostly JSON)
Main qualifications
- Profound engineering experience and experience working with data
- Good knowledge of the Azure Big Data/Analytics stack (EventHubs, Blob Storage, HD Insight etc)
- MS SQL experience
- Familiar with JavaScript, Python, JSON
- Hive and DataBricks/Sparc experience is a plus
- Other relevant aspects: A genuine interest and curiosity around Big Data topics and a positive "can-do" attitude
- Language(s): English skills mandatory, German is a plus
