Linux System Engineer with profound OS Security and Web Security knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3 years' working experience with Unix / Linux - RedHat and Network technologies as well as proficiency in the field of OS Security and Web Security
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl or Bash
- Track record in implementing internet based applications with the following technologies: HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Tomcat and Apache
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in the Information Technology field
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Contributing to the Internet Facing Applications integration and Support within the technological infrastructure
- Being responsible for Proxy Infrastructure and the corresponding Software Components e.g. Web Application Firewall, Reverse Proxy and Authentication Systems
- Onboarding of new clients
- Performing tactical engineering phase as well as use case, problem analysis, solution architecture and realisation
- Collaborating with various engineering departments in the wider area of security
