For a project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedMid-Office Operations Specialist - Tax / Fatca (6009)
Your Qualifications:
• Good understanding of operational taxes across different business divisions (wealth management, investment bank, and global asset management)
• Knowledge of regulatory tax topics, such as FATCA
• Good understanding in front-to-back processes affected by operational taxes across the bank
• Profound knowledge of banking products with good communication skills
• Fluent in English, German is a big advantage
Your Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the analysis of tax topics such as Mandatory Regulatory Tax Reporting (FATCA, AEI, APAC regulatory tax topics), Client Tax Reporting and Tax Reclaims
• Understand the technical and operational impact resulting from the new setup from an operational tax perspective
• Identify potential operational tax risks and issues which have not yet been addressed and hand-in the necessary requirements in alignment with the stakeholders
• Advise the affected functions with regard to the tax technical design of operational tax relevant processes
• Support business test cases and business testing
