Main Tasks and Responsibilities


My client is pursuing several process improvement initiatives in Product Lifecycle Management and Master Data Management based on Oracle Agile PLM and Oracle e-Business suite R12 systems. As part of this effort we are looking for an experienced business analyst to document business process flows and to develop or update SOPs and work instructions.

Principal accountabilities and responsibilities:
• Document business processes in standardized format (including BPMN flow diagrams)
• Update existing standard operating procedures and work instructions, to align with new processes and system functionality
• Develop new standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Create and manage workflows, including review and approval processes in the document management system
• Collaborate closely with process owners and IT to gather input for documentation
• Collaborate closely with instructional designer and support development of training materials

This is a global project that requires frequent collaboration with stakeholders in Europe and in the United States. Occasional teleconferences outside of regular business hours may be necessary.

Determine solutions to business software/hardware system problems. Analyse business processes and write system process specifications to be used. Work with clients to determine their business needs to transform them into information technology system requirements.

Minimum Skill Requirements

• Min. 5 years experience in similar roles in supply chain related ERP and/or PLM system implementation projects
• Ability to gather unstructured information from stakeholders and existing documents, and use this as basis to develop simple and clear instructions for complex processes
• Experience in Pharma / Life Sciences, in GxP-regulated area
• Fluent oral and written English
• Good communication skills
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive, self-starter attitude
• Sense of urgency
• Strong MS Office skills (in particular MS Word)
• Experience working with enterprise document management systems (e.g. Documentum, Qumas)

Additional desired skills:
• Experience documenting business processes in BPMN notation
• Experience using process mapping software (e.g. BusinessOptix, ARIS)
• Knowledge of Oracle Agile PLM and/or Oracle e-Business Suite R12
