Global Head, Data Governance wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- MSc/PhD (or equivalent) in life science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or business administration
- 10+ years' experience in pharmaceutical or information services industry, with knowledge of either drug development or project management in cross-functional global teams coupled with proven Leadership skills and the ability to develop high performing teams and diverse profiles
- Excellent understanding of the Clinical Development process and the requirements of supportive technologies, data governance models and architecture
- Proficiency of Stakeholder and Master Data Management coupled with profound know-how of lead development and implementing data architecture to achieve highest levels of quality, compliance and governance
- Professional background in working with electronic databases, clinical and project management planning and reporting systems
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Defining the roadmap for data strategy in collaboration with business and technology leaders to define scope, priorities and implementation plan
- Leading and executing data governance strategies by integrating and aligning business roadmaps into an enterprise data roadmap to deliver on the enterprise data strategy
- Prioritising data needs and governance, defining data prioritisation framework for cross functional initiatives and operational processes in line with policies and standards coupled with master data management for operational data
- Leading the visioning, approval and implementation of new policies, procedures and roles as well as the establishment of processes to continuously monitor data entered into the system on a regular basis
- Implementing priority projects related to centralisation of the exchange to operational data between systems and integrated, cost-platform reporting and dashboarding, in addition to advanced statistical analysis and predictive modelling
- Being responsible for hiring, training and onboarding of new Data Governance Managers and associates along with educating project teams on data maintenance and monitoring procedures
