The primary role of the Integration Architect is work close with the integration team to help to deliver integration solutions on the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform. The Integration Architect can also be a solution architect which acts as a liaison between functional professionals and internal technology teams in planning, designing, and architecting IT solutions to meet customers' requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with the architecture team
- Define the integration patterns, promote the architecture recommendation, manage the knowledge transfer, implement and maintain the integration components along the complete lifecycle of the software and middleware used
- Work very closely with offshore Product Scrum teams and offshore Operational Teams, especially Architects, Product owners, Developers, Engineers, other IT Specialists at a global scale
- Assess customer needs to identify IT solutions and integrations which support business needs. This position works closely with the integration architecture, test, project management office and functional teams, and relies upon problem-solving, analytical, and communications skills in developing relationships with IT business owners and key stakeholders.
- Provide both high and low-level design work to support a range of IT solutions and ensure integration between several systems (CRM, HR Solutions, Identity Provider, Active Directory, Risk Management, Real Time Orders, Wallet Providers).
- Ability to create solutions by addressing business issues by designing integrated IT solutions and IT managed services. This includes helping to develop tactical plans to go from the AS IS information technology environment to the TO BE IT infrastructure supporting these business plans.
- Enable buy-in by using consultative skills to design and implement IT solutions. Serve as a "trusted advisor" providing analysis, guidance, and design of processes, people, and technology solutions for our Client.
- Help to prepare needs assessments, proposed Scope of Work, and specific proposals to IT managed services solutions, including technical specifications, configurations, and agreements.
- Conduct code reviews of proposed solutions to ensure source code meets design specifications
- Code, when necessary, to support team objectives
- Present proposals addressing strategic business development opportunities for IT projects, including hardware and software refresh, security assessments and monitoring projects.
- Leverage Issue and Bug tracking software to identify trends indicating systems or software inconsistencies within the Integration space.
Experience
- 5 years of technical experience developing software solutions.
- 5 years of experience in designing and implementing integration scenarios for high demand systems.
- Strong experience in design, developing and delivering integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong knowledge of messaging, routing, transformation and Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL
- Experience in API designing respecting best practice concepts
- Experience in RAML or Swagger
- Experience in development with java, groovy, shell
- Experience in implementation of SOA concepts with API/Web services
- Experience in integration with JSON, Restful API, SOAP WS, Batch, EDI, ETL
- Experience in implementation of Message and Event architecture
- Experience in implementation of Security concepts (Certificates, OAuth2, API Key)
- Experience in the airline industry
- Experience in project planning and estimating
- Experience in RabbitMQ and AMQP Protocol
- Experience in AWS(S3, BeanStalk, Redis, EC2, Athena, Kibana, Elastic Search)
- Experience in Git
- Experience in Eclipse, STS, IntelliJ IDEA
