Java Developer | MongoDB | TDD/BDD | AWS | Jira | Jenkins | 720CHF per day | 12 Months+Ext | Switzerland
Java Developer is required for our Science/Manufacturing customer based in Basel, Switzerland for a 12 month contract with guaranteed extension.
You'll be responsible for the Back End development of our clients platform, involved with leading a small team of remote developers, improving the code quality using smart and sustainable automated testing strategies.
Our client is looking for individuals with the following skillsets:
- Extensive experience in TDD/BDD
- Deep knowledge and working experience of Java and MongoDB
- Knowledge and experience of working with the Spring Cloud platform
- Strong working knowledge of cloud-based solutions - preferable AWS.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
- Strong Analytical skills along with a structured working style
- Ability to work in a multicultural, geographically spread team
- Strong communication
- Fluent in English
If you have experience in the below areas, this would be an asset:
- Experience with Docker containers (for example; Mesosphere)
- Big Data Systems; Hadoop, Apache OR Apache Spark
- Previous experience of working within an Agile delivery environment
- SCRUM/Project based work experience within the Pharmaceutical industry
