A Swiss Private Bank is looking for a DevOps Engineer to work on a new high performance database project in the pricing feed area.The database will contain data which is used in the Markets Department. The data stored in the database will be used for different purposes: audit, analytics, statistics etc. Performance, high frequency, low latency and big amount of data will have to be taken in account while developing the project.Start Date: 01.03.2019

Tasks:
·Design, build, deployment and configuration management of the database software components.
·You test the implemented designs in accordance with the Business Requirements.
·You build and test automation tools for the Release Deployment.
·You handle code deployments in all environments.
·You take over the responsibility for the test management and the development of test cases.
·You maintain the day-to-day management and the administration of projects.
·You document and design workflow processes and manage updates.
·You improve the application lifecycle development.
·In addition you will be developing new components writing scripts.
Requirements:
·You have 5 - 8 years of working experience as a Dev Ops in Financial Industry, preferable in Investment Banking Front Office.
·You have 3+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases, e.g. Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.
·You have 2 years previous experience in development and operations.
·Moreover you have 3+ years of experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure.
·You have 2+ years of hands-on experience at least in one scripting language.
·2+ years working experience as a Java Developer in middle size projects is a plus.
·Multiple years’ experience in different business products FX, Equities, Structured products, Interest Rates, Fixed Income and Commodities is a plus.
·Moreover you have a knowledge of bank workflow and products data structure.
·You agree some activities that will take place in the evenings or even at the weekends ( mainly releases and health-checks).
·You are fluent in English, German is a plus.
