For a long-term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for anActive Directory Operations Specialist - SCOM / BMC (5992)
In this project you will be managing the migration of current systems in AD 2008 to AD 2016 and AD 2003 to AD 2016 as well as the compatibility of relevant tools to ensure AD 2016 is supported.
Your Qualifications:
• Several years’ experience as Active Directory Operations Specialist, ideally within Financial industry
• Strong experience and technical understanding of Active Directory 2003 and 2008
• Experience with monitoring tools like SCOM, BMC with good knowledge of WINS
• Experience in tools systems like ServiceNow, REMEDY
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell, VB scripting
• Willing to work 1-2 Saturdays a month
• Fluent in English, German would be an asset
Your Responsibilities:
• Managing changes to migrate AD 2008 to AD 2016 and AD 2003 to AD 2016 for EMEA locations
• Testing the compatibility of software that is used in AD to ensure AD 2016 is supported
• Retiring older servers during this migration
• Suporting migration related queries and troubleshoot issues that could arise
