QC Specialist with profound knowledge in Microbiology wanted for our Aargau based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or equivalent scientific degree
- Excellent knowledge in microbiological concepts and strategies
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for low endotoxin recovery (LER) analytical studies in the frame of the production and sterile drug products
- Good understanding of the biochemical properties of the endotoxin molecule
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Managing validation and execution of LER studies on manufactured drug products and analysing demasking methods and implementation to increase the microbial quality and sterility assurance
- Evaluating, validating and presenting new microbiological test procedures and alternative methods
- Providing support to optimisation and validation of analytical methods and equipment as well as cooperation on pharmacopoeial issues
- Maintaining the analytical, conceptual and strategical microbial projects along with supporting method transfers from and to the laboratory
- Organising and introducing necessary SOP's as well as assuring the fundamental knowledge in the specific area through regular training and education programs for members
