Pega Developer
Experis IT Switzerland is on the search for an experienced Pega Developer responsible for building PRPC applications, to join one of their clients, a well-known company with worldwide operations. This exciting 5-month term contracting opportunity is only open to English speaking candidates with relevant experience, who are available to start immediately.
Your role:
- Development and Maintenance of PegaRULES applications
- Integration of Back End services
- Building UI for operations and Front End users
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Pega artefacts
- Identify bugs and problems and devise solutions
- Ensure code quality, organization, and automatization
Your profile:
- Proficient in Pega, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, inheritance, polymorphism
- Ability to write JSP codes and reusable Java libraries
- Experience with DB tools (egToad) and SQL knowhow
- Familiarity with Pega UI rules (portal, harness, section, control)
- Knack for writing clean, readable documentation in- & outside of Pega
- Experience with databases and Pega typical schemas
- Understanding of application-design with ECS
- Creating database artefacts that represent and support business processes
- Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
- Implementing unit test activities
- Proficient understanding of Pega rule versioning and deployment mechanism
- Knowledge about Pega supporting tools such as SMA, PLA, Visio
- 2+ years of experience
- Perfect English (written and spoken), German is a plus
