Contract: Java Solution Engineers/Developers (FX/MM)Job ID 24286
You will join a high profile project and contribute to the development using his/her excellent Java skills.
You need to be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
The challenge involves design and development of new components related to the FX B2B application.
Furthermore, you will have experience of working with multi-threaded designs, distributed systems and efficient API design.
Hands-on experience with profiling tools is also preferred.
Previous work experience on client facing Foreign Exchange applications would be very advantageous.
Must
* University degree in information technology / engineering
* Several years of profound experience in the programming / solution design / implementation of complex OO core applications in the banking industry - ideally FX/MM
* Sun Programming Certification, Rendezvous, Unix (Solaris), Subversion, SQL (RDBMS) more than welcome
* Very good knowledge 29 West (LBM, UME), TIBCOEclipse / CVS / Maven or ANT and of course proven UML / RUP, Spring, JSF and JBoss, WebLogic know-how
* Fast thinker capable to learn on the fast track and to take over ownership and responsibility also for new things/ideas/initiatives
* Very keen in development interfaces to already existing applications (in-house developed as well as 3rd party solutions)
* Sound experience with data management with Oracle 11i
* Strong team player and ability to work in international, multicultural and heterogeneous teams
* Self-motivated, customer oriented, focused and structured
* Excellent English (written and verbally)
