Service Engineer - RMD Instrument Support: - Laboratory/Software/Automation/Remote Services/Deutsch.
Project/Role:
For our customer, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for experienced service engineers - RMD Instrument Support. The role is contract position initially for 10 months (with strong possibility of extension) in Lucerne Switzerland.
Main tasks:
In a global and cross-functional environment you will be responsible for Diagnostic instruments during development phases as well as after launch with the following tasks and duties:
-Technical Expert and point of contact for our internal customer regarding service aspects
-Installation and commissioning of instruments.
-Autonomous troubleshooting and logging of hardware and software issues.
-Deployment and servicing of various instruments and their configurations.
-Support of global development trials.
Must Have:
-Good experience in the resolution of technical problems and in interdisciplinary teamwork (laboratory, software, automation)
-Good experience in and/or willingness to work in a highly regulated industry and in labs with biosafety levels S1 and S2.
-Should you have a good working experience with customer and service oriented.
-Should be an enthusiastic team player with good communication skills.
-Should have an autonomous and proactive working style.
Sound knowledge of network technology.
Nice to Have:
-Experience in remote service solutions.
Education:
-Academic Degree in engineering or life sciences discipline (eg Medical Devices, Electronic/Automation, Mechatronics)
-Completed apprenticeship as a automation, poly, electronics technician or similar
Corresponding job experience.
Language:
-Fluent in German
-Good in English
