Java Developer - Spring/JavaScript - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Developer with server and client side skills to join a global financial services organisiation.
Your experience/skills:
- Several years of experience as a Java Developer in the finance industry, flair for business applications and financial calculations
- Java Spring skills
- Proficiency of development tools and continuous integration such as Eclipse, Maven or Bamboo and with testing driven development tools like Junit
- Competency in batch programming, the target infrastructure is an extended WebSphere Application Server
- Ability to design software components for high performance and large data volumes coupled with sound knowledge of relational databases like SQL
- JavaScript/Angular/HTML is highly desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Documenting the technical solution and implementation
- Taking a major role in the implementation and testing phase
- Supporting production processes such as monitoring and issue resolution
- Working in an environment with continuous integration and change control processes
- Contributing to technical concept and designing of the solution in close cooperation with project lead, other IT team members and business analysts
