Quality Expert for Medical Devices wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years' work experience in the pharmaceutical sector with solid scientific, technical and regulatory experience in a relevant area
- Profound background of cGMP, medical devices, combination product regulations, standards and guidelines
- Know-how of medical device development and life-cycle management as well as qualification to analyse and evaluate GMP compliance
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology or Biotechnology or another related science is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German or French is beneficial
Your tasks:
- Maintaining portfolio of assigned projects, supporting a discipline and providing a functional expertise for medical devices and combination products
- Being responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting of GMP related KPIs including managing quality problems and technical matters in addition to securing they are solved consistently in accordance with global standards and policies
- Releasing medical devices for clinical studies and commercial use as well as assisting with Medical Device Risk Management, through proactive risk management tools and approaches, to minimise impact on global supplies and patients
- Representing MD Quality in initiatives and cross-divisional projects besides contributing to internal compliance policy and comment to regulations
- Coaching people, recruiting talents and establishing training or development plans along with supporting project management functions in preparation for a Pre-Approval Inspection
- Determining internal and external guidelines regarding quality and safety including enforcing them to compliance and associates
