Michael Bailey Associates are currently recruiting for a GL Accountant to join their pharmaceutical end client in Fribourg, Switzerland:Start: January 2019
End Date: end of September
Rate: CHF 48/hour gross
Job Purpose:
- Provide accounting and closing skills to ensure accurate accounts and timely reporting of Alcon
- Ensure high quality of financial data and guarantee compliance to Group and BU Reporting standards as well as statutory requirements
- Business partner with designated Local Business Units to ensure that business objectives are met through provision of timely, accurate and relevant financial information
Education: Certified specialist for Finance and Accounting or similar degree
Languages:
Must have: Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Nice to have: Spanish
- Other languages internationally spread are an asset
Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience in Financial reporting and accounting department.
- Knowledge and practice of IFRS.
- knowledge and practice of a local statutory GAAP (W Europe)
- Knowledge of local tax (Income/VAT)
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP/ JDE.
