For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Luzern, we are looking for an experienced

System Engineer - Windows / C# .Net (5571)

This is an interesting position to integrate, maintain and support a third party Win/.net software and you have the opportunity to take part in global projects and work with many different stakeholders including vendor.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong experience managing full 3 tier application stacks from the OS up through IIS hosted and CLI Windows-Applications (Ms.Net Framework)
• Hands-on experience with server-side deployment (.Net, IIS, Jenkins, Atlassian Toolsuite)
• Strong knowledge of
o Packaging windows application and configuration
o Windows batch scripting and shell scripting
o REST web-services
o source control software (preferably SVN)
o continuous integration tools (preferably Jenkins)
• Experience in C#.Net application development
• Authentication and authorization - PKI’s, LDAP, SAML, OAuth
• Fluent in English, German skills would be advantage

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage installation, maintenance and upgrades of a 3th party .NET application on windows servers
• Run database upgrade scripts, migration queries and analyze performance problems
• Analyze technical and functional issues in application, logs, database etc. and coordinate with the vendor and business
• Communication of release dates and notes and current issues and limitations to other teams
• Actively participate in sprints with daily standup and retrospectives
• Continuously improve the deployment process to allow automated and ensuring successful promotion
• Document systems infrastructure for users, support, consulting personnel and developers
